Sanction disciplinaire la plus grave infligée à un joueur s'il se rend coupable d'un comportement antisportif, d'une faute grossière, d'actes ou de propos injurieux ou s'il reçoit un second avertissement au cours du même match, et qui entraîne son expulsion du terrain de jeu.

► Un joueur, remplaçant ou qui a été remplacé, exclu et à qui un carton rouge a été décerné, doit quitter la proximité du terrain de jeu ainsi que la surface technique.

Strongest possible disciplinary sanction for a player during a match, shown, amongst other things, for extremely unsporting conduct, for serious foul play, for a foul by the last defender in front of goal, for insulting behaviour or for a second cautionable offence, which results in the immediate sending-off of the player concerned from the field of play.

► A player, substitute or substituted player who has been sent off and shown the red card must leave the vicinity of the field of play and the technical area.
